How to get EPOC 5 running on an EeePC

You have a couple of options. One way is:

1. Install Wine on your EeePC I have found that wine_1.1.21-1_i386.deb solves the switching off problem !
2. Get a copy of ER5 OPL
3. Install it on a windows machine
4. Install switchoff-1.zip.
5. Set up switchoff so that the Psion doesn't switch off after 3 minutes.
6. Copy the Epoc32 and Epoc32exe directories to the Wine c:drive.
7. Play with your new Psion in the EeePC.

An other way is:

1. Install wine_1.1.21-1_i386.deb on your EeePC
2. Dload one of my files
3. Unzip it to the Wine C:drive
4. Play with your new Psion in the EeePC.
